The Greek "Golden Boy" has already shaken up European football.
Relentless pace, cutting inside from the left flank, and stunning goals scored from outside the box—few attacking players in modern European football are capable of such explosive bursts of play.
In 2016, when Christos was just 14 years old, his family moved to Germany due to the economic situation in Greece. The young talent joined the academy of the German club SG Rosenhöhe Offenbach. In the summer of 2021, the English club Norwich City paid approximately €11 million for the Greek winger. However, adapting to the Premier League proved difficult. Loan spells at Twente and, later, at 2. Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf proved to be turning points.
Tzolis made a real splash in the Düsseldorf jersey during the 2023/24 season: 22 goals in the 2. Bundesliga (joint top scorer). Over 30 goal contributions across all competitions. He proved that obstacles only make you stronger.
